This policy explains what EBCD collects when you use ebcd.io, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to get it removed. It applies to this website, including the contractor financing guide request form.

What we collect
Information you give us
When you request the financing guide, we ask for the following. Name and email are required; everything else is optional and used only to tailor what we send you.

The form saves your answers in two stages. Your name and email are recorded as soon as you finish the first step, before you answer the qualifying questions. If you stop there and never complete the second step, we still hold your name and email and may email you the guide. You can unsubscribe or ask for deletion at any time — see Your choices.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data — your IP address and the time of submission, recorded with your form entry. We use these to block automated abuse and to rate-limit the form.
- Referral and campaign data — the page you submitted from, the page that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you clicked (commonly called UTM parameters). These tell us which content brings people here.
- Aggregate site analytics — pages on ebcd.io use Vercel Analytics, which measures page views and traffic sources without cookies and without building a profile of you. The financing guide pages themselves load no third-party scripts, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To send you the guide you requested and a small number of related follow-up emails
- To decide which financing programs are worth recommending to a business like yours
- To contact you about EBCD's services where relevant to your business
- To keep the form working and free of automated abuse
We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with lenders, advertisers, or data brokers. The lenders named in the guide receive nothing from us — any application you make is one you start yourself, directly with them, on their own website under their own privacy policy.
Email, and only email
The consent box on the form covers email. We use the phone number, when you give one, only if you have asked us to call you or you are already working with us. We do not add guide requests to automated SMS or text-message campaigns. Every marketing email we send has a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect for all marketing email from us.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our email. They process your information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact record for as long as you remain a subscriber or an active business contact, and afterwards only as long as needed for our legitimate business records or where the law requires. If you ask us to delete it, we do. Short-term technical logs, including IP addresses, are discarded on our hosting provider's normal retention schedule.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe — click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send.
- See what we hold — email us and we'll send you a copy of your record.
- Correct it — tell us what's wrong and we'll fix it.
- Delete it — email us and we'll remove your record from our systems.
Write to chris@ebcd.io for any of these. We don't charge for these requests and we won't treat you differently for making one. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights; we apply the choices above to everyone regardless of location.
Children
This is a website for business owners. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Where information is handled
EBCD operates in the United States and our service providers store information there. If you submit the form from outside the United States, you are sending your information to the United States, where privacy law differs from your own country's.
Security
Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection, and the credentials used to reach our CRM are held server-side and never exposed in your browser. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information — financial account numbers, government identifiers — through this form.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
